She was an NBA dancer who became an activewear designer. I think you will find the reason pretty interesting. When she was a dancer, she was given outfits to wear for the team. These outfits did not match the level of athleticism or the fact that they were females who worked hard to get the forms they had. She wanted clothing that was comfortable to wear but also sexy and emphasized the female body.
