Oreo Torte! Are you looking for an easy and delicious recipe to take to an event. Something that you can quickly put together! This recipe is so good and has four easy steps plus just a few ingredients.
This Oreo Torte recipe is the most requested dessert that I make. In addition, it will be one of your favorites once you see how easy it is to create and how good it is.
Additionally, this is a no-bake dessert. So no oven heating the kitchen on a summer day. It’s also so light and refreshing, another reason to make it during the summer. But it is so good that you’ll make it any time of the year.
Oreo Torte
Ingredients:
Family size oreo cookies
½ cup butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2 – 8 oz Cool Whip
5.1 oz instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
Directions
1) Crush all the Oreos. Then put most of the Oreos in the 13×9 pan, leaving some Oreos for the top of the dessert. Melt the butter and pour it into the 13×9 pan. Mix the cookies and butter, then pat them down to form a crust.
Lisa’s tips for step 1: I use a gallon ziplock bag, add your Oreos, and put a towel over the top of the bag. Then I use a rolling pin to break up the Oreos. I prefer chucks of Oreos in my crust, but that is up to you how much you want to crumble the Oreos.
2) Combine the cream cheese and the powdered sugar. When the mixture is creamy, gently fold in 8 ounces of cool whip. Once combined, add this to a 13×9 pan as the second layer.
Lisa’s tips for step 2: I let the cream cheese get to room temperature so it whips up easier. I use a hand mixer to whip the cream cheese before adding the powdered sugar, so there are no lumps. I also use a tub of original Cool Whip.
3) Whisk the pudding and milk for the third layer.
Lisa’s tips for step 3: I like to use 2 small boxes of instant chocolate pudding. This makes it extra chocolate!
4) Add 8 oz. of Cool Whip as layer 4. Sprinkle oreo crumbs on top.
Lisa’s tips for step 4 – I use the extra creamy Cool Whip.

So another great thing about this recipe is you can change up the Oreo’s or the pudding since there are so many different flavors of both. Maybe change out the original Oreo’s with Mint Oreo’s. Another flavor combination could be the Golden Oreo’s with pumpkin spice pudding.
For this dessert, I paired it with the Wine Ambassador Discoveries Pinot Noir.
See the tasting notes below:
Discoveries Pinot Noir 2018: – Medium-bodied pinot with exciting complexity. Earthy notes with plum, cherry, cloves, and pepper, hints of dark chocolate, and tobacco with grippy tannins and a very long finish. Fantastic with duck, mushrooms, and roast chicken.
